Soil scientists work in a wide variety of fields, not only agricultural fields.  We are educators, administrators, researchers, consultants, scientists, wetland delineators, regulators, landscapers, horticulturists, etc.  We hold the knowledge to determine wetland boundaries, determine where and what type of septic system to install, assist with stormwater issues, determine soil contamination remediation practices, etc.  The list is endless!
