Minnesota Association of Professional Soil Scientists

The MAPSS Winter Meeting will be held on December 2, 2016 at the Continuing Education and Conference Center on the University of Minnesota St Paul Campus; 1890 Buford Ave, St Paul, MN 55108. Registration will start at 7:30 am with presentations beginning at 8:00 am. Lunch and break snacks are provided.

The title of this year’s meeting is “Advances in the Technology and Methods in Soil Classification and Mapping” This will include presentations on such topics as the employment of drone flights, spatial analysis in GIS, soil morphometrics, digital mapping, and 3D databases and modeling. As always there will be a presentation on professional ethics as well as the business meeting and elections for next year’s officers.
