Minnesota Association of Professional Soil Scientists

Graduated from UofM in 1980.  Started soil survey work in 1980 for UofM in Brown & Martin counties (Area 6). Switched to SCS/USDA around 1983 in Martin county. Moved on to Chisago country soil survey and eventually became party leader (Area 3).  Assisted on re-do of Benton county soil survey (Area 4) before resigning from Soil Conservation Service in 1989. Became Soil Scientist for MN Dept Agriculture managing environmental soil and ground water cleanups.  Retired from MDA in 2013.

Prior Treasurer & President of MAPSS.  MAPSS Soil Scientist of the year 1998. MAPSS Distinguised Service Award 2013.
