Day of Event information

Sent in an email 7-31-25

The event begins at 8am tomorrow, there will be snacks and coffee (around 7:30am), arrive early to eat and mingle (parking info is below). Some of the parking options will require that you walk a bit, so give yourself some walking time. The building is card access only, but someone will be there to let you in. Don't forget about road closures! Highway 94 (https://content.govdelivery.com/accounts/MNDOT/bulletins/3d8e242), University Avenue https://pts.umn.edu/university-avenue-construction-beginning

We will be outside and suggest a few items

  • boots or shoes you can get wet as we will be near a wetland

  • bug spray

  • sunscreen

  • facemasks due to the poor air quality

Parking Options

$15 - pay lot across from Borlaug

$15 - Gortner Ramp

$6 - Lot 104 which I affectionately call the Solar Panel lot

Free - Park along Como Avenue, walk to Cleveland Ave and pick up the free 124 Campus Circulator bus - There will be enough food there that you may need the walk to burn off that energy!
