The event begins at 8am tomorrow, there will be snacks and coffee (around 7:30am), arrive early to eat and mingle (parking info is below). Some of the parking options will require that you walk a bit, so give yourself some walking time. The building is card access only, but someone will be there to let you in. Free - We have acquired free parking for up to 25 vehicles along the west side of Gortner between Folwell and Larpenter.
Free - Park along Como Avenue, walk to Cleveland Ave and pick up the free 124 Campus Circulator bus - There will be enough food there that you may need the walk to burn off that energy!

87 - The 87 bus runs along Cleveland and Gortner through St. Paul to Roseville every half an hour.

MAPSS Summer Tour 2024 - Marcell Experimental Forest
The MAPSS Summer Tour will highlight US Forest Service research at the Marcell Experimental Forest near Grand Rapids, MN on August 23, 2024 with optional pre-event points of interest on August 22. The US Forest Service is conducting the world’s largest climate change experiment near Marcell. The Spruce and Peatland Responses Under Changing Environments (SPRUCE) research facility is an experiment to assess the response of peatland ecosystems to increases in temperature and exposures to elevated atmospheric CO2 concentrations.
